EFT Academy
Our in-house EFT Academy was founded more than 15 years ago, to help us address a skills shortage in our industry and ensure we had a strong pipeline of talent to keep serving our clients with the high standards they’ve come to expect.
Since its inception, more than 150 apprentices have passed through the EFT Academy, learning vital skills in fire and life safety systems.
Award Winning Apprentices We Are Proud Of
As a testament to the immense talent and potential possessed by our apprentices, many have received awards, accolades, and recognition beyond just their qualifications. This includes Apprentice of the Year awards, World Skills UK winners, and other national competitions.
Inspiring the Next Generation
To maintain a strong pipeline of talent, we have programmes to reach young people to make them aware of career opportunities in our industry before they make their career choices. Through careers fairs, school and college talks, mock interviews, and work placements, we inform and inspire young people about the life changing opportunities that the construction industry can offer them.
Not Just Young People
While many people starting an apprenticeship are recent school leavers, we believe no one is too young to learn a new skill or find their calling. That’s why we’ve expanded EFT Academy to include older people looking to change career or get back into work.

We truly value apprentices and apprenticeships. To show our commitment, we proudly serve as Apprenticeship Ambassadors for Merseyside and are members of the Cornerstone Employers Group for Merseyside.
